Hopefully one day this is a creative collaborative, but for now, it's just me. I struggle with all kinds of mental health issues and this is a place where I talk about it. Specifically, my goal is to heal my relationship with food (and myself), and maybe some of what helps me can help you too. Our society paints food as the enemy to health. Gaining weight became synonymous with failure while dropping down one waist size became a person's greatest triumph. Food does not harm you; it heals you.
I created this page as part of my own healing journey, as I have found the wellness community to be filled with toxic positivity and inauthentic content. Work in Progress is a place where recovery can be explored freely and without judgment.
